The
Telecommunications Infrastructure Advisory Board
is a joint group co-hosted by:
Members of the host organisations
(or relevant host Forums)
are automatically members of TIA-B.
TIA-B
provides a focalpoint serving the joint interests
of the co-hosts: ensuring
that telecommunications networking
strategies developed by CMA
members are supportable over the
specified physical
infrastructures; providing
interpretation of, and easy access
to, the physical
infrastructure design
standards, regulation and legislation
with which the ECA-ITEC and
FIA are directly involved; promoting
quality assurance within installations
of physical infastructure to
the benefit of the members of all TIA-B
co-hosts; defining
proven measures of corporate and
personal competence in the design,
installation and operation of telecommunication
infrastructures.
The TIA-B
concentrates on providing technical support for its members in what
is often a fast changing and challenging market in which mistakes
can be very costly.
